H. H. K. Safaris
Zimbabwe
2009
![]()
This first class safari company offers some of the finest hunting, fishing and photographic safaris in Zimbabwe. Their concessions encompass nearly 2 million acres of unspoiled wilderness including the Chete concession on the shores of Lake Kariba, the famous Chirisa Safari area on the Zambezi escarpment, the fabulous Matetsi area near Victoria Falls, and down through the lowveld to the Lemco Safari Area. Together these areas can provide our clients with the full range of Zimbabwe’s Dangerous and Plains Game species.
The Chete area is renown for its huge herds of Cape buffalo, and also produces excellent elephant, lion and leopard trophies each year. Additionally, crocodile and hippo are plentiful along the Lake Kariba shoreline.
Matetsi is known for its excellent sable population, but it also produces huge dark maned lion and great buffalo as well. There are also excellent populations of premier plains game species such as kudu, waterbuck and eland.
The Chirisa Safari area is adjacent to Chizarira National Park. This area has produced some of the biggest leopard ever taken in Africa. My leopard taken in Chirisa weighed over 200 lbs., and was 8' 1" in length! With great populations of the rest of the Big Four, this is a first class safari destination.
In total H.H.K. Safaris has ten camps which can cater to any and all needs, and whenever possible clients will have exclusive use of the safari camp during their stay.. The camps offers a variety of quality accommodations, ranging from beautiful stone rondavels or chalets with thatched roofs, to first class East African style tented camps. All accommodations have en-suite bath and toilet facilities, with hot and cold running water and flush toilets. Each member of the experienced staff is fully trained and dedicated to providing you with a quality safari experience.
